A street cat named Benson from Dubai must have been destined to be a fashion model and Instagram influencer. Or “meowdel”?
Sometimes, stars are discovered wandering the street. For example, a talent scout spotted actress and model Anya Taylor-Joy walking in London. That’s how his humans from America found Benson, spotting a future star walking the streets.
Like Anya Taylor-Joy, Benson is a natural model who loves fashion and modeling. However, the cat wasn’t out shopping – he was lost and in grave danger after his family abandoned him.
Soon after adopting Benson, the couple discovered the cat had a natural raw talent for modeling. Unlike most cats, Benson would hold still whenever the couple pointed the camera at him as if posing.
On Instagram, Benson, who has over 245k followers, wears hats, glasses, and a constantly changing wardrobe. Usually, he’s posed among the cozy white pillow in the window. But, you never know where he might appear next.

After a year, Benson had 100K fans, and his humans say they were “deeply humbled” by all the love, while Benson looked like a party animal celebrating.
Then, Benson’s fans voted him Cat of the Month, and he received a trophy.
In April 2021, Benson appeared as Sir Bensleepsalot, and once more, he seems proud of his latest costume. Or, maybe he’s humoring the humans until he gets more seafood?
