“The world needs more Mr. Bills ❤️”
Meet Charlie and Doug — a pair of adorable dogs who live in South Carolina. Each day, the pups bring a smile to the faces of their owners, Kimberly Hansberry Shelton and her family.
But the joy these friendly pups bring doesn’t end with family alone.
Shelton recently shared a video of herself inside her house, from a window, gazing out into her backyard. An older man walking slowly toward the fence while holding something in his hand is observed there.
Shelton identifies the man as her 94-year-old neighbor, Mr. Bill, in her onscreen text.
But it was obvious that he needed no introduction to the specific people Mr. Bill had gone to visit.
It appears that Mr. Bill has made it a habit to stop by and see Charlie and Doug every day, greeting them and offering them food. It seems that the enthusiastic dogs’ response to him was more than enough to justify everything.
But they’re not the only ones who are appreciative of Mr. Bill’s considerate and supportive presence. Shelton responds to the granddaughter of Mr. Bill’s comment by stating that she shares it.
We are extremely grateful and fortunate to have followed closely behind him, she wrote.
