Meet Kylo, the shelter rescue dog that is so happy to have been saved that he immediately wants to cuddle and love his human mother the instant she enters their home. Kylo’s new owner, Meghan Sweers, told The Dodo that as soon as she sits down to take off her shoes, Kylo crawls into her lap to be held. He follows me around with the most pitiful expression on his face if I don’t sit down for our snuggle time until I cave in and embrace him.
Before Sweers and her husband arrived, Kylo was just 10 months old when he was abandoned at the shelter. After being rescued, he spent a long time in a foster home with no one showing any interest in the silly dog.
Kylo’s first night in their house was flawless. “He crawled into my lap, tucked his head under my chin, and started snoring like a chainsaw,” Sweers recalled. “From that moment on, my husband and I knew he was staying with us!”
